Notify your utility companies that they should stop sending bills to your home because it has been destroyed by the Water Removal or that you can’t live in it right now.
  4. Get in touch with your creditors right away. Most will be willing to assist you to get through this condition, particularly if many people have also been involved. Your homeowner’s insurance policy will most likely cover much of your flood damage loss, but keep in mind that insurance policies do vary. Your insurance policy might cover Water Removal and other expenses, like water damage to your home, including rental units; loss of personal possessions; your living expenditures if your house is unlivable due to flood damage; and rental payments that you cannot collect due to flood damage.
