Tenant Move Out Cleanup >> Debris Removal

If you have a good lease you will be able to recoup some of your money. However most people do not have a thorough lease so water damage, and damage from mold, basic neglect are not covered in the lease. If you do have a good lease and the tenant fails to inform you that there is a water leak and you do receive mold damage they will be responsible for the Debris Removal repairs. The best thing to do is have a professional mold inspector come out and check it over.

  1. If Debris Removal hasn't started the mold yet have a professional plumber come out and check where the waters leaking, and how to repair the problem. If you are a tenant and you see water leaking anywhere, it is in your best interest to contact your landlord. Landlord is responsible for providing you a safe living area; however you have to inform them in a timely manner. If damage occurs because of your neglect they may come back on you. They Debris Removal the house, leaving stains on the carpets; dishes all over the place; beer bottles, cans, and garbage all over the floors; and some furniture completely damaged.
  2. The landlord has things to do the next day, so they leave everything as it is and go about their business. While they are gone, the police show up and begin cleaning. They don't clean it all at once; they only pick up a bit of trash here or an empty beer bottle there. When they get home, the place is still a mess, but somewhat less so than it was when you left. They understand that if they just leave it up to the police, it will all be cleaned up eventually.
  3. It might take them weeks, sure, but they can live with the Debris Removal until then. Why do it themselves if the police are going to do it for them? You could possibly see the problem here pretty easily. By leaving the task of cleaning up after the party to their roommate, you’ve conveyed that cost. They saved themselves a lot of time, by leaving it up to someone else. The police in this story is like the landlord.
  4. They will do the cleaning up alternately on their own, so if the landlord can convey the cost of Debris Removal's, for example, by just dumping it on their landlord, then so much the better for them! But is it right? Should they leave the cleaning up to the police just because they can? The landlord wasn’t at the party, so he receives no advantage from it, yet he is left to pay some of the cost. Sure, they could tell him that he doesn’t have to clean up, but you know he will. He can’t help it. That’s just what he does. You can’t stop him because he does it when they’re not around. If they don’t want him to do it, then they have to do Debris Removal themselves.
