Tornadoes have been reported in early every state, and though they usually occur during spring and summer, they could occur any time of the year. Buy or make shutters for any vulnerable windows, glass areas, French doors, patio glass doors and skylights. You could also build storm shutters with 5/8-inch dense outside-grade plywood.
