  1. According to the United States fire administration the leading cause of fire is arson with over 267,000 cases causing $1.4 billion in property damage each year. Half of the arrest made are from juveniles, because of this, the field of Fire Damage is on the rise there has become a demand for technicians that possess these skills. A person that can work in environment that involves both  of the skills of working in crime scene cleanup and working with fire damage restoration. It actually requires a broad range of different abilities, a person that can both stomach an unpleasant situation and performance it's cleanup. And a person that can clean up after a fire, these are completely different processes and techniques.
  2. Then when you throw in a situation like a meth lab explosion it really shows the diversity of some of these Fire Damage experts. Now you're dealing with the cleanup of extremely toxic and dangerous substances that can harm a person for a long period of time, if not cause permanent life-threatening conditions. Some of these Fire Damage have led to the total destruction of the home or other building that a meth lab exploded. Where other less severe explosions have just partially damaged the premises requiring still an extensive cleaning and restoration.
  3. Cases that have involve some sort of bombing have resulted in significant cleaning, restoring and reconstruction. In these homes there is usually a combination of both Fire Damage and the general dismantling of the buildings structure. Depending on the severity of the bombing and the type of bomb that was used will dictate as to what type of cleanup, what type of restoration and what type of rebuilding will take place. Again the kind of diversity that these technicians display is amazing to be able to come into an environment, one that the structure has been completely altered and be able to rebuild it to the exact specs, even down to the finishing touches.
  4. In the cases of a fire that was used to cover up a murder, these again can be a very complex Fire Damage, not only does the crime scene technician have to deal with the cleanup of fire damage. Where the type of cleanup depending on what caused the fire and the different things in the home that burned will determine the cleaning techniques and products used. But now the cleanup from a murder will require another batch of cleaning processes and products.
