Debris Removal >> Tornado Cleanup

The destruction caused by a tornado can be devastating, considering a tornado can have wind speeds that reach over 300 miles an hour. People that have lived through tornado compare the power as that of an atomic bomb. Tornadoes do have the ability to completely destroy and level everything for miles, there have been entire cities that have been thoroughly decimated and the amount of Tornado Cleanup is overwhelming and can take months and even years to clean up.

  1. The debris that is left by a tornado is a mixture from anything that you can imagine, there will be tree limbs, walls of houses, street signs and rubble that used to be part of a brick building. These once used to resemble a neatly and well built constructed community, now it lays and piles strewn across the an open expanse that used to be rows and rows of houses. The Tornado Cleanup will require major amounts of manpower, equipment and sweat in the process of trying to rebuild people's lives in the town they once knew.
  2. There are few places around the country that do not experience tornadoes or least winds that can reach the speeds of a minor tornado. Tornadoes are rated on the EF scale, this stands for Enhanced Fujita scale, most people recognize the original F scale from movies like twister, that is about tornado chasers. To give you an idea on how much Tornado Cleanup there could be, and F1 tornado can have wind speeds up to 112 miles an hour. That is usually strong enough to cause massive damage, the kind of damage that would result in millions of dollars worth of damage. And the scale goes up to an EF five with wind speeds of up to 318 miles an hour.
  3. These kind of Tornado Cleanup require heavy equipment like front end loaders that can pick up large pieces of a person's home and put it into large dump trucks or dumpsters. These front end loaders could also be used to pull up rooted trees to area that they can be cut up with chainsaws into more manageable size pieces. The cut up wood from the trees might be used for firewood the next winter or merely discarded along with a lot of other Tornado Cleanup. The area landfills will have a never-ending line of trucks bringing this debris daily causing unbelievable amounts of congestion, delaying the cleanup process and if these landfills normally receive garbage from other communities this will disrupt their lives as well.
  4. There are more than likely will be toxic debris, if there is any kind of manufacturing plant or distribution center that has been involved in this tornado. This debris will not be accepted in the normal garbage landfill and will have to be taken to a facility that deals with toxic waste. This Tornado Cleanup will require specialized equipment in the delicate handling of this kind of material. He
