Debris Removal >> Fire Damage

A fire can be devastating in the amount of damage left behind could be enormous, in some cases a home is completely destroyed and must be Fire Damage. It seems like in every case of fire that there is some sort of debris that must be removed and thrown away. Even in the case of a partial fire, most of the time the damage will spread into a wall or ceiling in that section will have to be dismantled and the fire damaged area will need to be discarded.

  1. Considering that the majority of fires originate in the kitchen area and actually are caused from cooking you can imagine the amount of damage that can occur in the amount of Fire Damage that would need to take place. If a fire breaks out in a kitchen more likely it will be in the area of the stove, so the flames are shooting up from the stovetop. What do you suppose will be damaged, that's right the cabinets and because most now days are made of wood, it will not take much to destroy them they will need to be taken down and thrown away.
  2. Say that the Fire Damage spreads into the wall that the cabinets are attached to, now the wall will have to be demolished, the materials will have to be thrown away and on the wall will have to be reconstructed. The second leading cause of Fire Damage is heating related, of course the three most popular months for a heating related fire is December, January and February. Now let's say you're furnace is in the basement, it catches on fire and the flames rise. What you think will catch on fire, that's right because the ceiling of the basement is more than likely made out of wood.
  3.  The first thing that will probably need to be dismantled and thrown away is the furnace. Then you will be a will to get access to the ceiling/floor joist, in order to cut out the damaged wood the rest of the floor will have to be supported. As the Fire Damage is taking place and the damaged material is thrown away, now the reconstruction can begin. The new building materials can be added to where the old damage materials removed. The third most common cause for a fire is an electrical fire, one type is caused by excessive heat coming from a light bulb. As you can imagine where the Fire Damage will occur is in the ceiling where most light bulbs are kept.
  4.  In order to cut out a section of the ceiling it will have to be supported to be able to hold up the weight, until the new ceiling can be installed. After the ceiling joists have been replaced and the drywall has been reinstalled, textured and painted the supports can be removed. The other type of electrical fire is from a short and the wiring. The electricity will arc, cause the Fire Damage and the repairs will have to be made.
