Often, following some sort of water damage like a burst pipe or a thunderstorm that has caused damage to a house or business allowing water to enter creating a Water Damage. This will require the restoration of the electronic equipment that's in the building back to its original state. There are certain procedures that must be followed for electronic technicians to give them the ability to make these repairs and to complete a restoration.

  1.   4. A damaged filler material will degrade the insulation and the interruption capabilities. Corrosion, loss of lubrication, and insulation quality could also be expected in contactors and starters. However, the solid-state motor controllers and many of those electromechanical contactors or starters with integral electronic circuitry might be more severely affected by Water Damage. Drives damaged by water can be remanufactured by the original manufacturer specs in some cases. Electronically controlled and solid state contactors and starter components containing many semiconductors and transistors with overload relays that have molded case circuit breakers and molded case switches.
